TRAINING TRACKS

Lodge Excellence Summit 2013 is going to be different from any training event that you have gone to before. It is a complete redesign from previous Quality Lodge Summits, with a crucial focus on creating training sessions that benefit each Arrowman in an impactful way. We do this by creating "training tracks", encouraging attendees to fully invest themselves into one of the four offered themes during the event. Whether you are a new Arrowman, Chapter Chief, Lodge Chief or Adviser, we have great sessions tailored to your individual roles. Each track ties in with the others in a dynamic way, with the opening and closing sessions of LES connecting everything thematically.

Below are the four tracks offered at LES 2013. Take a look!

"CHAPTERS" TRACK

Are you a Chapter Officer or Adviser?

We have news for you! An entire training track at the LES will be devoted towards the OA Chapter Program, with a focus on event management, increasing attendance, and innovative ways to make the chapter-level program exciting for Arrowmen. Youth officers and adult advisers are encouraged to attend if they have a role in their lodge's chapter program or would like to learn more. This unique track provides a great way for you to learn about how other lodges operate chapters and what you can do to make yours improve even more.

Valuable skills, insights, and tools/resources will be provided through this track specifically designed for chapter leadership.

"LEADERSHIP" TRACK

Lodge officers, register today! This training track is youth only.

Your role as a lodge officer is to be commended; it is not an easy job. This LES training track is designed to provide lodge officers with the resources and "Best Practices" to bring back to their lodges. Along with group sessions on the meaning behind leadership and the vision of a lodge officer, there are many benefits to a lodge officer that wishes to succeed in his role. Attend LES. Tell us what you do, and exchange ideas with other officers. You don't want to miss this.

"PROGRAM" TRACK

In charge of a Lodge committee? Planning or advising an event?

Come to the Program training track! We've got ideas, proven methods, and ways to excite people about your program. Whether it's an ordeal weekend or a lodge fellowship, program is key to the success of any lodge or chapter. Advisers will share their experience on events and what has worked in the past. National guests will train based on their knowledge after traversing the country and seeing the OA program on a grand scale.

There is much to learn, and much to share. Don't miss out on this chance to gather as brothers and bring forth the best program possible to your lodge or chapter.

"PARTICIPATION" TRACK

New Arrowmen and New Adults

The Order of the Arrow is what you make of it. The more you put into the program, the more the program will reward and guide you. However, it all begins with YOU. There are vast opportunities within the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service for you to take part in. This training track will tell you all about them, and also allow you to ask the questions that you have about the OA.
